Welcome to Positively Autistic Coaching at HappinosisHelping late-diagnosed autistic women thrive in leadership, life, and everything in between
About Me
Hi, I’m Paula—a coach, hypnotherapist, and unapologetically neurodivergent. As a late-diagnosed autistic woman with ADHD and lupus, I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, and exhausted. But I also know what it’s like to thrive authentically, and that’s what I help my clients do every day.
With over 15 years of experience, a Master’s in Positive Psychology, and a toolkit full of fancy certifications (ICF Accredited Coaching Practitioner, Clinical Supervision, and more), I combine science-backed strategies with a relatable, down-to-earth approach.
My mission? To empower late-diagnosed autistic women, introverts, and shy individuals to overcome anxiety, self-doubt, and overwhelm so they can lead with confidence and authenticity. Whether you’re navigating leadership, career challenges, or just trying to feel “enough,” I’m here to help you turn your challenges into strengths.
When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me managing life with lupus, writing on Substack, or hanging out with my therapy dog, Pippa, who sometimes makes a guest appearance in sessions.
Let’s work together to build resilience, embrace your neurodivergence, and thrive on your own terms.
✴︎ A Few Truths About Me
-
My nervous system sets the pace for my whole life. I honour that in myself and in you.
-
I find safety in slowness, wit, and well-made notebooks.
-
I write better after coffee and worse after bullshit.
-
I’m not here to impress you. I’m here to meet you.
✴︎ Professional Credentials
I hold a master’s degree in positive psychology and am trained in both coaching and hypnotherapy. I’ve coached over 300 clients and specialise in working with late-diagnosed autistic women and neurodivergent leaders.
I’m currently completing doctoral research on unmasking, identity, and authentic leadership in late-diagnosed autistic women.
My Story
How it started
I’m Paula Green Jones — a positive psychology coach, writer, and late-diagnosed autistic woman.
I spent decades trying to be fine.
On paper, I looked accomplished.
In my body, I felt like I was always one step from collapse.
I didn’t have the language for what I was carrying.
I just knew I was tired of pretending.
My autism diagnosis came late. But the truth it revealed was lifelong:
I had been adapting, performing, and surviving in spaces that were never built for me.
Now, I work with others like me — brilliant, burned-out women and quiet leaders who are ready to stop performing and come home to themselves.
I’m here to help steady you. With great coaching and therapy techniques, you can be confident in what you are, with great relationship skills, living life and business with your own special brand of magic..
How I work
I don’t coach from the stage.
I sit beside you — with presence, irreverent humour, and deep respect for your way of being.
My coaching is:
-
Rooted in positive psychology
-
Shaped by lived experience
-
Paced by your nervous system
There are no scripts here. No “fixes.”
No rush to get anywhere but here.
Whether you’re unravelling, rebuilding, or quietly ready for something more honest…
you’re welcome exactly as you are.
What I believe
-
You don’t need to get better to belong.
-
Unmasking is not about exposure — it’s about safety.
-
You are allowed to be brilliant and exhausted at the same time.
-
There is no one right way to be autistic, creative, kind, or strong.
-
Emotional truth is sacred, even when it’s messy or quiet.
-
Coaching should meet you where you’ve been — not demand that you keep up.
Why Work With Me?
Let’s be real—navigating leadership as a neurodivergent woman can feel like trying to herd cats while walking a tightrope. I get it because I’ve been there. As a late-diagnosed autistic woman with ADHD, I’ve turned my personal experience into a coaching practice that’s all about helping you:
- Kick anxiety and self-doubt to the kerb.
- Build resilience without running yourself ragged.
- Lead with confidence, authenticity, and a bit of sparkle.
With 15+ years of experience, some rather impressive qualifications (if I do say so myself), and my own MERGE framework (Mindset, Emotional Regulation, Raise Resilience, Grow, Emanate Flow), I’m here to help you turn your challenges into your greatest strengths. And yes, we’ll keep it real, relatable, and maybe even laugh along the way.

Here’s how I’m qualified to tinker with your mind and emotions. You are in safe hands…
- Lived Experience: I’ve walked the awkward walk and talked the socially anxious talk. My journey gives me a unique perspective and a genuine understanding of what you’re going through.
- Professional Expertise: As a certified coach with a background in neurodivergence and mental health, I bring both professional know-how and personal insight to our sessions. I promise to keep the jargon to a minimum and the relatability to a maximum.
- Humour and Heart: Let’s face it, life’s too short to be serious all the time. If it’s all just one big eyeroll, we’ll tackle your challenges with a light heart and a positive attitude. Because thriving in a world not designed for us is an act of rebellion—and it should be a joyful one.
- Community of Kindred Spirits: Joining my coaching program means becoming part of a supportive, like-minded community where you can share stories, laugh at the awkward moments, and celebrate the victories—no matter how small.
Ready to Thrive (and Laugh) Together?
If you’re ready to embrace your inner quirks, laugh at life’s absurdities, and thrive in a world that often feels like it was designed by and for extroverts, let’s connect. Together, we’ll turn those awkward moments into opportunities for growth and those challenges into stepping stones toward a fulfilling life.
Feel free to reach out to learn more about my coaching services or to schedule a discovery session. I can’t wait to embark on this wonderfully quirky journey with you!
Extraordinarily yours,
Paula Jones
